Apprenticeship in Mission

Ends of the Earth Network

We hold the conviction that we must properly equip workers for the harvest fields with much more than mere classroom instruction (which is also very important). The Apprenticeship in Mission (AiM) is a 9-month mission training experience that focuses on “formation and mission in community.” This life-on-life training is designed to go beyond the classroom (though classroom study is involved) and launches the apprentices into hands-on cross-cultural work and life under the tutelage of experienced mission practitioners. The program is built around a model than emphasizes five core capacities:

1. Character

2. Charism (Spiritual Gifts)

3. Calling

4. Competency

5. Community
